Hose Fitter

​Our client is seeking a full-time Hose Fitter to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. As a Hose Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial hoses and hydraulic components. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the operations of our business.

What you'll be doing

·        Install, repair and maintain a variety of industrial hoses, including hydraulic, pneumatic and steam hoses

·        Fabricate custom hose assemblies to meet specific customer requirements

·        Inspect and test hoses and hydraulic components to identify and address any issues

·        Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used

·        Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support

·        Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and procedures

What we're looking for

·        Proven experience as a Hose Fitter or in a similar role within the trades and services industry

·        Strong technical knowledge of industrial hoses, hydraulic systems and related components

·        Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications

·        Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·        Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

·        Good communication and customer service skills

·        Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
